WHAT IS A STUDENT MINISTRY APPRENTICESHIP?
The Student Ministry Apprenticeship Program is a 9-week summer ministry training program that aids in the equipping of students who feel a call to vocational ministry. Any current 12th grade or college-aged student between the ages of 17-25 with an interest in learning more about the practice and procedure of a high-functioning student ministry is eligible to apply for the apprenticeship.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The program includes a variety of hands-on student ministry experience, fieldwork, and in-class training. The following are core competencies that you will learn and have an opportunity to put into practice through and after your apprenticeship; self-leadership, spiritual disciplines, sharing the Gospel, leading others through a discipleship pathway, systematic theology, event planning, and leading ministry/volunteer teams.
